The Challenge
Unifying a fragmented doctor and patient app codebase while simultaneously integrating proprietary Spectra Care IoT hardware drivers and low-latency Agora video calling — without disrupting daily clinical operations.
The Solution
Rebuilt the platform from scratch using Jetpack Compose and MVI, creating a shared module architecture that decoupled IoT device communication from the UI layer via reactive Kotlin Flows. Agora SDK integration was wrapped in an abstraction layer enabling fault-tolerant reconnection logic.
Outcome
A unified, rock-solid HealthTech platform used daily in live clinical environments with a 99%+ crash-free session rate and zero documented data-integrity failures across IoT device sync.
